Thank you for the warm welcome - my apologies for the reply delay, I am still learning to navigate the FTE site. Looking forward to becoming a Supporting member and sharing my restoration details with all.

FYI - I acquired my 1954 F-100 in November 2011. The truck is mostly original & I plan to restore certain features w/out a frame-off restoration. Upcoming projects include:
- Front bed panel replacement
- Exhaust system modinfication to allow spare tire storage
- Wood bed replacement
- Door latches, adjustment / weatherstripping
- Steering column replacement to Fordomatic column
- Gauge replacement
- Horns
- Interior dome light, headliner
The b&w photo in my album was taken at Stokes State Forest in NJ.

Your not that far from me, you are within a mile of my house when you go out 80 to 15 intersection, when going to Stokes.

That was my first trip with the '54 when we took it up to Stokes - we rented one of the cabins and the black and white theme looked appropriate. No storms here last night but I heard there were some pretty severe ones that rolled through parts of NJ.

You should bring it out to the GTG next month in Carlisle PA, the All Truck Nationals....

Never been to Carlisle but heard it was worth the trip.
I was at the F100 Supernationals at Pigeon Forge, Tenn. in May; great show.
My F100 has a rebuilt 1969 Mustang engine under the hood - strong running; should be able to handle the trip to Carlisle!
