Help with some AutoMeter gauges
 

I got three auto meter gauges to fit in my A pillar pod. Water temp, Volts, And Oil Pressure. I checked auto meters website and they are no help at all. The volt meter won't be an issue. Thats the easy one. What I'm asking is where does the temp gauge go into the block as well as the oil pressure gauge. And what would be the best way to wire it up? Just wire it all together or do everyone individually? Any info and suggestions are appreciated

Are they mechanical or electric gages? What enginen is in your truck? If it is the 351W I would put it where the factory temp gage sensor went on the drivers side of the engine on the top, at least that is where it is at on my 92. Not sure where the oil pressure sensor is, but put that in the original location. If you are using mechanical gages make sure to run the iol sensor tubing well clear of the exhaust manifolds. Also some of the gage kits come with a tee fitting so you can leave your original sensor hooked up so the oil light isn't always on. Wire all 3 gage lights together/ If youare using mechanical gages there will be no addition wiring for the oil and temp.

I appreciate the reply, My truck is in fact a 351W And I didn't get a tee in my pack maybe I should get one. I would still like the stock gauges to work I only got the auto meters for a more accurate read out

The oil pressure fittings usually use NPT( pipe thread) You can get a tee fitting at any hardware store, make sure you put teflon tape on the fittings.
