MAF Senor readings
I have a 2007 expy and I was told that I need to change my MAF sensor. After doing some research I tested my sensor and here are the readings.
Idle = .81vdc 1500rpm = 1.1vdc 2500rpm = 1.5vdc. Has anyone else had these readings or are these to low and I should replace the sensor? Thanks for any advice. |
Who told you you need to change your MAF and how did they determine this?

Ford lead mechanic
I had my vehicle in because the tranny was acting up and it is still under warranty. At first they said a seal was out between the tranny and transfer case. which was under warranty. Then they said no it was the MAF sensor. Which of course is not. I told them not to replace it. Then tested it myself.

Go to a different dealer. They sound like scam artists. If you have no codes and no check engine lights it may not be either. How did you test the MAF sensor?
