That looks great, congratulations! So what's next?
This project will be the last for awhile as I am running out of places to keep them. I've got 6 now with addition of the Ford pickup so I need to hold-off. So for now I will satify my fix with other people's projects. Just in case your wondering, My others (automotive babies) are (as you can see I am not Brand loyal, I buy what I like): http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...psfc3fd42e.jpg http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...psb375de4b.jpg http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps24da90d7.jpg http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...psa13afc75.jpg http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps36fea1c2.jpg |

It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been driving the little truck a bunch and had to make a few adjustments. First TCI's suspension for these pickup's SUCKS! wore out in a little over a year with something like 400 miles on the truck. You get what you pay for...they are crap. So I needed to do something and decided that since I liked the low look but not the ride on these light short base trucks I installed an Air-Ride system. What a difference...its like driving a Cadillac now. Just awesome and the added benefit is it sits low when its parked and I'll never worry about a speed bump. Pretty sweet. Since I had it in the shop I also changed the engine dress-up a bit to go more old school with it. Enjoy! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...231553bb3d.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...e41fcc5e58.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...940b284296.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...b543a72eeb.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...d355f1ed51.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...71ea5af037.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...5230dcefcb.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...9ab14a4d56.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...3ba6d6ecc9.jpg |
Very nice! I have considered air ride but always chicken out, too worried about something breaking and being stuck with the truck aired out.

Holy Moly!
What a truck!!!! absolutely beautiful! :-drink |
Fantastic! That sure is a beauty.

Excellent build, and you executed your theme perfectly!
That's too bad about the TCI suspension, but your remedy fixes that permanently. |
Very nice build. Like the style of your truck!
