Sleeping in for me...yeah I kind of did...I slept until 5:45 this morning!...LOL...

Went for a nice walk last night with Tracey and our big dog...the little dog would have to be "carried" with as long as we walk...we typically go for a little over 2 miles after dinner...that way the heat can die down somewhat!

It's always funny to walk the dog and watch her "hunt" for bunnies...she's 4 years old and still a pup at heart...starting to slow down some...she is really 2 different dogs...the inside LAZY pup (and I mean LAZY) and the outdoor active pup...taking her for walks gets us all exercise!

Looks like today will be our last HOT day above 90...then we'll "cool off" into the upper 80's...LOL...

Good morning Indiana, happy Hump Day, and welcome to the first day of Summer, which begins at 6:09 this evening! Spent last night cutting down 3 pine trees in our yard, I'll have action photos tomorrow of my big dumb ass up on a ladder hacking them down. Yard looks waaaaay better with those scraggly damn things gone!

Quiet day yesterday in here for sure!...everyone must be pooped from the high heat and lack of water we've been suffering from!

Today should be the last HOT day...mid 90's again...there is a 30% chance of storms moving in from the west...we'll see...they have seemed to peter out all year before getting here...we really need it though!

Gonna be a medium busy day today...which will be nice...a few longer meetings though...

Oh yeah...and now I officially have TWO teenagers at home with Zoe turning 13 today!!!...we'll have a cake for her tonight and then her parties (her friends for one and family for a second) in the next couple of weeks...

Good evening Indiana! Much cooler here in Central Illinois today. Cold front passed last evening, all of the rain missed us and we're still dry. Wish Zoe a happy thirteenth birthday for me Joe. Wag, you the man. Everyone enjoy the cooler temps and enjoy the second day of Summer.

Hello everyone.
I got an early start today with a call from the Highway Patrol.
Just before 3am they requested a roll-back to respond to a overturned Malibu.
The three occupants went to the hospital.
There was a strong odor of alcohol in the car.
That seems to be a common thread with the 3am calls.

Been a busy morning today...thankfully my afternoon isn't looking too busy!...I'm thinking of getting out of here about 3 and working out...

I think Tracey and I are going to see that new Adam Sandler movie tonight...I kind of like Adam's movies...goofy...you know!

We've got a party to go to tomorrow night...one of my co-workers throws a huge Summer Solstice party each year...he'll have a band and DJ...lots of booze and food...he does it up right...the cops show up every year because he is in a housing development...not smart...but we do it each year...what are you going to do!

I'll be home tomorrow and then hit the road again on Sunday...

Zoe had a nice birthday yesterday...she got her own cell phone with unlimited texting and web...so she is a happy teenager!

That is funny Joe, we got our daughter the same thing for her 13th back in January. The texting thing seemed to wear off after a while, I actually out-texted her by 150 messages in April. :D
