limited slip differential install cost (2003 f150 3.73 gears)
 

hello everybody,
my friend have a 2003 f150 king ranch supercrew 4x4 with 5.4 l engine and automatic transmission and 110000 miles, he have 3:73 rear gear ratio which he wana keep but it has regular axle, he wants to change it to limited slip and he looked online about tru trac something, does anybody have any idea of how much will it cost to make it limited slip differential? any comments r appreciated, thanx

First thing is to see if the existing rear is an 8.8 or a 9.75 in size.
After that, it's amatter of replacing the 'Carrier' with the limited slip unit.
As to cost, it depends on where and who you get the parts from.
Again, you must know what size your after.
