i recently fell victum to a mud hole and thought it would be fun to show you guy and maybe see your greatest stucks. note it took two extra cab trucks to pull me from there powerstroke and v8 dodge 2500http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...59842284_n.jpghttp://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...36153016_n.jpghttp://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...98991060_n.jpghttp://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...90642049_n.jpg

see my problem was i try to turn around right in the middle of the swamp and they had to pull me out sideways, we try just the powerstroke but then he got stuck so the dodge had to pull the powerstroke out then they hook up like a train and yanked me out, that me say the dodge felt pretty high and migthy after that.

this is the rut i fell in...not to mention the truck was completly stock and had crappy tires...i had just found this place and wanted to scope it out before bringing my ford out there

Wish I did have pic's! We cut across the sand dunes to the beach on Padre Island, Corpus Christi, Texas. Ran across a covered up oil field and dropped to frame instantly. Long story short, before it was over we had five 4x4's stuck and tracked a D8 cat up the beach to winch us all out. Almost lost the cat, before he pulled it up on a sand dune and pulled cable. Six inches of sand covering oily mud.

Day 2 of PSD ownership. Took truck to Northshore to play in the sand and lets kids get knocked down by waves

On way out this "little" hole looked dried over. I tried driving over it...stupid. 4" of dried clay/mud and about 2+ feet of soupy stuff below.

Took 2 dodges, a Duramax and a jeep to jank me out. Best recovery pic I have. Was too busy trying to get unstuck before the sun set

I have since learned my lesson. 4 ton truck = bad idea to 4x4. And it's very disconcerting to hear mud crack and then feel the truck drop to frame
