How can I test Fuel Pressure on a 6.0l diesel?
 

I would like to test my fuel pressure and do not know my options. Any suggestions and tool recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and valuable knowledge.

First off, welcome to FTE and the 6.0L forum.

You'll need a metric to NPT adapter. The test port on the side of the secondary fuel filter housing is M12x1.5 and you need to convert it to 1/8 NPT...something like this one.

I'm running an Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge in the A-pillar that allows me to monitor pressure anytime the truck/engine is running. Got it through RiffRaff which includes the adapter:

I'm not a fan of China parts/tools, but this one is affordable when compared to the Snap-on tool set.

And just in case your not sure where it is...the test port is next to the fuel pressure regulator.
