Does anyone own and recommend this product?

Has anyone had a problem with it?

my brother is interested...he does diving instruction and handy man work as well as his job as an ASE certified master tech...he wants to be able to quickly unload the truck to reload with whatever he is planning to do next. The bedslide supports 1000 lbs and has multiple tie downs. I hope it works good, and I will post his experiences here.

They work pretty sweet.. I've seen them at a show it had no problem sliding out a heavy load.

I was wondering if anyone had used one long term...most things work at the show...thanx for your input, though!

Back in the 70's my dad built his own (mind you I was in my late teens then)- they are very easy to build, simply install a runner (rail) down each side, build a drawer and using automotive wheel bearings (about $15 each), attach those to the drawer with the last two installed at the rail near the tailgate, this acts as a guide and built in stop.

I saw the Bedslide and the Jotto Desk product at SEMA two years ago. I knew I'd want one for my truck once I finally bought the truck(!) Mostly, I busted my buddy's chops about getting one for his F350 so that we wouldn't have to crawl our butts up into the front of the 8' bed (under the Snugtop of course) to pull all of our hunting gear out. Well, fast-forward to last Sept, finally bought an F150 Supercrew 4x4 (King Ranch) w/6.5' bed. I had my Bedslide and Snugtop (excellent paint match to the KR earth tone color fwiw) installed on 5/2. So far, AWESOME! I've just changed careers, traveling salesman with a variety of items that're heavy or awkward to load. I've been loading the light and 'square' items up front, the heavy and bulky items on the tail. I grab the release, the slide glides back in and locks in the bed, and tailgate's up. Simple.

I had to get shims for an add'l $40 'cause I have the old man's step and handle in the 'gate.

PS: I coerced the guys to chip in and we bought our buddy one too as a thanks for carting our butts all over SoCal for the past 7 years in his rig. He was like a freakin' kid on Xmas morning when his wife revealed it to him, super funny!

I run mobile and have been using a bed slide with a 1200# rating for about five years. Best investment I ever made!
