4R70W Compatibility 1997/2002 F-150

Hi,

I have a 2002 F-150 4.2 V6 with a bad 4R70W transmission. I have access to a very cheap 4R70W out of a 1997 F-150 that is in perfect condition. Are these two years compatible (or remotely compatible with some basic part swaps). Thanks.
