o2 harley, milage concern for used buyer

so my original plan may be out the window, the guy I was going to by the truck from is having second thoughts on selling it. I did find two other 02 to consider. One black and the other grey both look very clean but they both have a tad under 106,000 miles on them. The car fax checks out for no major repairs or accidents. My questions are, should I stay away cause of the miles, if not what to look for when checking them out, are transmission prone to fail with so many miles, super charger check list with so many miles, ect.... need advice please

There is no simple answer to your questions. Consider these things:-
you are buying a 10 year old vehicle which WILL need parts replaced.
you will need to find a good mechanic to do repairs on a supercharged motor.
you will consume much more fuel with the HD.
depending on your location, your auto insurance may increase with this specialized vehicle.
there is a price to pay for speed and looks!

Good luck with your potential purchase. I have owned my HD since May 2002 and have put on all 102,000 miles. It has been a great truck but is starting to cost more money as I replace some parts.

I drive a 2002 HD pick up. Bought it new and currently have 192,000 miles on it. Its my daily driver. I'm planning on driving it from the Detroit area to Charlotte, NC and back at Christmas. I may be towing a trailer at that time as well. The parts that I have replaced aside from the normal wear-out stuff (e.g. brake rotos/calipers, shocks, tires, etc) are, alternator, steerring gear (massive leak), tie rods and 1 ball joint. I do get a little cam chain rattle on coldsoak starts but not enough to make me want to pull it apart are replace them (yet!)!

Making it my daily driver however resulted in heavily rusted rockers like so many other PN96 platform F150s.
