Directions on replacing turbo pedastal o-rings
Any have directions? maybe with pictures?
Thanks ya'll cant wait till I get this back together again...then start working on MPG |
Are you rebuilding the entire pedestal or just the pedestal orings? Here is a turbo replacement write-up that might help some, but it is basically R&R http://www.dieselorings.com/docs/Pow...structions.pdf
BTW, did you ever figure out your issue with serious blowby? |
Not yet on the blowby, all the injector seemed to be seated well......Any thoughts on them while I'm under the hood and have everything apart would be great.
Maybe I should just take them out and reinstall them and check for any screw ups on my end? |
Also I purchased the turbo reinstall kit with compressor o-rings from riffraff. Incase you were wondering, hopefully that'll fix my leak

ok, wheres a write up on the compression test?
thanks! |
Not really a right up per say, but I will find the guide I used. Basically though, warm the engine, pull glow plugs, install compression tester into the gp hole, of each cylinder and crank with the 42 pin disconnected or the CPS to keep it from firing.
Edit: Here is a recent thread on the subject https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...sion-test.html |
