HIGH ICP Pressure
Idle ICP was 728-750 psi with IPR duty 11% HOT idle. What causes this? What can I do to fix it?
|
What was the EOT reading during this? Did it happen when you first started up? Does it read the same if you drive it around for 30 min. and then let it idle?

I started a different thread the other day but opened this one up just for the ICP problem, it has all the info. I know on it https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...questions.html

You may not have any problem to fix. How is your truck running?
Did you write down the ICP and IPR voltage? Did you remove the tuner chip and see if your readings changed? (flipping to a "stock" tune may not be exactly like your original calibration...) |

Yes I bought it used. I talked to the po because he was nice enough to leave his name and number along with A LOT of paper work in the glove box (I got it from a dealer). He gave me the rundown on what he had done to it and injectors were not on the list.
The icp pressure that we got was with the truck in stock tune. The truck runs great. When it's cold out sometime she doesn't want to start but that's another issue in itself that I have to take care of. The reason I found Dan was because I felt a power loss in the truck. I did get bigger new tires but that was after I realized something is getting tired. The truck runs great but the power level is down. It used to set me back in the seat but now it doesn't. It still pulls like a raped ape until 2100 rpm then noses over. But according to tugly my hpop is healthy, that's what I was blaming on te power loss until I found Dan |
