Be honest you are thinking "vespa" We know you want to! }>

Don't need a license for those. Looking at a Harley now also. Funny how spending 4 days at a Harley dealership does that to you.

I have always heard that a Harley is the best way to turn gasoline into noise without the side effect of speed, but chicks seem to dig em.. so... that's a tossup..

Yep, I agree. I'm really looking hard at the nightster though. It's just more comfortable than the sport bike, and it'll go at least 75mph, so it's good enough for me. I've got no desire to go 150+mph on two wheels. The Triumph is cheaper though. Once I actually get the license I'll go do some test rides.

SPortbikes in town suck. Stop and go stop and go-The try and fall over- its the wind that keeps them up- HD Sportsters do not ride well.

Carolyn suggested a big pick vespa with hello kitty tags-- you know you want to! :-)

You could look at a HD VRod or a Fat Boy, or Honda VTX 1300 or 1800. Up here in Nebraska getting your license is easy you take the eye examine then take the written exam then if you pass both you get to the riding part where you have a ear piece and they tell where to drive around Falls City and not failing that they sign the paper work and you get your license and your done.

I think you should get a Rocket III 2300cc or the VTX1800C (I loved mine) or maybe even a Boss Hoss!!! Boss Hoss Cycles : Products

The license part is done, except for actually getting it. I've already done the written and riding tests. Just gotta wait for the paperwork to get signed and returned from Topeka. Can't afford the Vrod or Fat boy. I'd rather not get a Japanese v-twin. I know sportsters get a bad rap, but I'm looking at the nightster 1200. I really like the forte eight, but not a fan of forward controls. So, looks like the nightster is the best fit for me. Once I have the license in hand I plan on scheduling a test ride.

I did this all out of order, but I have my license now. Only thing left is to get tags on it.
