I am Darin! Been up here since June working on big cattle ranch near Edgemont...about an hour south of Rapid. I am almost done here though as winter is approaching and we are headed down to Texas. As Jarrett stated, I'll be up in Williston this coming weekend having a grand ole time. You gonna be around? Would love to meet up if I can swing it.

Anybody ever used this tires? I want to use them in one of the work trucks.

You hang around Edgemont very long and you'll glow in the dark! Ask around what's stored at Provo.

Uh oh, drove through there yesterday on our way to Fort Robinson. I know it was an old munitons storage for the Indian wars. What is stored there? :-hair:-X16

Mornin' all....starting this Tuesday like ZZZzzzzzz

The good news is that my wife has decided the Kia Soul needs to be traded for a 7.3 Excursion due to our growing family. So yes, in true Ford addict fashion, I have already started looking and I am finding some pretty decent ones in and below my price range. Let the fun begin! I cant wait! Might take a month or two to get it all taken care of with evrything else going on, but this is good.

Have a great Tuesday!

One drop of sarin and a 100 mile radius dies, every living thing! Very old containers and fragile, they don't even know how to move them. Now they want to do underground explosives looking for more uranium to mine, that makes sense, lets disturb that stuff (sarin) some more! The water is contaminated now!

Jarrett, Byron, sounds like you guys have something good planned for the weekend! I'll be in Tennessee yet. I'm leaving tomorrow morning about 4. All loaded up and ready to go. Probably won't be back until Monday.

If anyone is interested the race I'm participating in can be watched online at ihra.com. There is a link on that site for the summit superseries race. The main race is saturday.

I am so stoked for you, Darin. Man, I hope everything goes well. At any rate, it should be a trip to remember.

When do you start racing? Is the website a live feed or will they be re-running the races?

ReBilld 10-21-2017 09:24 PM

I'm gonna check that out Darin!

Moved my namesake today. Back when we bought a house in May, I didn't move the truck that had been in my grandparents garage. Needs some work, but glad to have it home. Attachment 247956Attachment 247957Attachment 247958

Washed it when I got home. Something to work on when I get can't find something to do.

This was my grandpa's truck he purchased new in 74. He worked at Ford and actually worked on it as it came down the line. 460 gas engine, I believe 3.73, gears, auto. He gave it to me when I turned 16. Originally painted two tone green and yellow (think 70s) that I didn't want to be caught dead in then. Now I'd like to get back to stock color again. 88,000 miles. Have a lot of memories working on this truck with him.

That looks like a great family keepsake! I wish I had my grandpa's truck, but I'm living on his farm, so I think I can make due!

No door sticker to give you the paint code. Got any old photos of it?

I had a great uncle who retired from Ford and bought a 70's model with a 460 so he could set the cruise pulling a trailer and not worry about losing speed uphill. We live on relatively flat land, so the awesome 200 something hp of that motor was adequate for his trailer.

The inside is still painted the yellow color and some parts you can still see the green. I haven’t looked At the door sticker but I actually still have the original paper from where he purchased it. I’ll try to look for it today and post.

Lately I’ve been reading about that eras engine HP and how to increase HP. Im getting a inch to start a long term build.
