Heard back from Chuck of Chuck's Trucks that he has used 22.5s, and has a set of factory new custom ones if you want to go that direction. Below is his web site. Stu

Spring is here so I'll bring this up to date. I have three sets of 89340s at present here in Illinois. We have none available in Oregon. One available set has bias ply tires that might be usable in a pinch. One has radials that aren't worth anything but might get you rolling. The third set I've pulled tires from. Stu

Something I'd like to add to this discussion. I've recently found that shipping costs can be reduced through use of the Fastenal company's third party shipping service. Might not yield as fast delivery, but on a recent shipment it saved a lot over use of the trucking company I've been using. Here is a link to the Fastenal service. Stu

Stu, per the classified the are $85+8=$93.
My question is how much would shipping be to PA for 6?

Firechiefford 04-05-2015 10:39 AM

Hi can email me at jnhoinowski@epix.net

truckdog62563 04-05-2015 11:20 AM

The $85 is right, but no longer the amount to dispose of old tires. The $8.00 was my cost in Oregon at the time, now gone up there too. In Illinois it costs me $16 each to pull and recycle old tires. So that's $101 each. Shipping through Fastenal might depend on what part of PA you live in. I got a shipping schedule from my local Fastenal store which shows iirc $130 within one zone and $170 to the next zone. I can't assure you that those rates are current either. I would suggest going to the Fastenal site I linked above to get an accurate quote from them. I would drop the wheels at their Springfield, IL, store. A 40" x 48" pallet with six wheels weighs 320 lbs +/-, so once you specify their store location for pickup they can give you their quote. They ship COD so you would pay shipping to them at pickup. Payment to me for the wheels could be through PayPal if you wish, or postal money order. Stu
