2008 DPF Delete
I have a 2008 6.4 that I am interested in taking off the DPF. I have already installed an AFE Air Intake, I have replaced the factory exhaust from the Cat back with a 5" Silverline Exhaust and I also currently use the Diablosport Predator Programmer on the truck. Just to give you a little back ground on my knowledge of Diesels, I HAVE NONE! This is my first diesel that I have ever owned and I am already illiterate when it comes to any vehicle and especially a diesel. My questions are, to delete the DPF instead of buying another exhaust what do you recommend I purchase for this situation? Does the pipe have to be Silverline and 5"? Will any pipe work to match up to the 5" Silverline? As I said I have no idea what I need to accomplish this? I have heard that I need a programmer, not the Diablosport that I currently have (which I have been very unpleased with since the day I bought it anyway) and an EGR Delete as well?
