2002 mini cooper vs 97 f150 4.6

who would win in a drag race or rolling start? 2002 mini cooper, non supercharged, manual transmission or a 97 f150 with a new 4.6, magnaflow exhaust and cold air intake and skyjacker 7000 shocks. mini has literally about half my horsepower, but I also have twice his horsepower.

The mini cooper of course. :D

Well, before you head off into yet another street racing scenario for us to analyze, consider that your fine jewel of a '97 isn't so good in a "vs." with a fixed object.

1997 f150 crash test - Yahoo! Video Search

So I would concentrate on brakes and tires and defensive driving, and if you want to race, find a track.

Call me silly.

The mini and the Mustang hands down.

Sand_Man 04-14-2012 08:45 AM

Are you racing everything you pull up to at every stop light?

The part that got me was:

:-huh

Besides the redundancy in that statement, the hugely obvious weight difference isn't being taken into consideration...

What can possibly be gained by racing a Mini in an F150?

Let's see, Chevy, Mustang, Cooper. I sense a pattern, but I can't put my finger on it:

yes i know theres a time and place for such things, but since im 18 the time and place is always constant haha. just kidding. it was at 1 am on a completely deserted stretch of road. not that that means much anyway, i was aware of the risks.

Sand_Man 04-16-2012 07:56 PM

Oh. well as long as it was 1 AM in the morning, it's perfectly safe. Nobody ever gets hurt or killed street racing late at night on deserted roads. Don't be a typical 18 year old idiot. Admit you DON'T know everything, that your F150 is NOT fast and racing mini coopers and 6 cylinder Mustangs driven by other clowns is a recipe for disaster. Also, I hope you don't get caught street racing, because at least here in California, it's mandatory jail time.
