Will an 08 Rear-Bench bolt into my 02? (crew-cab)
I have a line on one but it isn't in driving distance to take a look at. I need head-rests as my little one will be out of the car seat soon and I don't want her riding on a booster and not have a head-rest. It seems 04 is the 1st year with head-rests. I looked at a guy's 04 the other day and it looked like it is a straight bolt in swap.

I am pretty sure that the rears are direct bolt-ins all the way up through '07, but not sure about the '08. I would like to do the same kind of swap myself. I saw some '07's that folded down perfectly flat in the rear which I though was a great option. For me... it's a real long term and lower priority issue since I infrequently have anyone in the rear.

From what im reading on ebay for seat sets that are for sale.
They all say the seats are for 99-2010 f-250 superduties. So i am assuming that they should bolt right in |
Thank you Voodoo and F250_

I did a 01-07 swap before, and the only difficulties where this- under the cab floor, there are soft steel bosses that the seat bolts self-tap into. When I did the swap for a customer, I had to drill out a few of the bosses (floor pan only) to the holes would line up. SO thankfully Ford used some for thought and you should have the additional bosses already welded on to accomodate the new seat frame bolt pattern. BTW, if you have an impact gun that will help immensly! Those damn bolts are in there good, and tapping the new bosses ain't easy either.
