73 360 valve lash settings

hello! I am hoping someone knows here, im needing the correct gap measurements for the intake and exhaust valves on a 73 f100 with the 360. Ive gotten conflicting info from other places, differing measurements and do both intake and exhaust when hot or do the intake when cold and the exhaust when hot. So, im not sure which is right:-huh Appreciate any help, Thanks!!

This will probably add to your conflicting info.
360's have hydraulic lifters and are non-adjustable. The rocker arms have no provision for any kind of adjustment.
Here's a picture of the FE (360/390) rocker arms.
Why are you needing to adjust them?

It was my understanding that you were to bleed the lifters and check the tolerances, and use the different length pushrods available to give you the desired gap.

Oh, okay. Let me dig out my shop manual and see what it gives in the way of specs.
I'll get back with you.
BTW welcome to FTE.

Are you building or modifiing the engine? You shouldn't need to mess with it as part of normal maintenace.

Dang I'm gettin' slow:-X04, Oldstyle beat me with how to check.
According to the FACTORY '73 shop manual, the collapsed tappet clearance for the 360/390 is:
Allowable: 0.119"-0.219"
Desired: 0.119"-0.169"
Blown331 is correct though, usually this is only required after some major work, not as part of routine maintenance.

@old style, thank you very much! Exactly what I needed!

@mikeO :) thanks for the welcome!

@blown 331, got this engine from a guy that had a shop only rebulit the lower end and used all the old valvetrain components, currently have a cold lifter tap so im going to be replacing lifters for sure, and see what else on the teardown
