Free super duty parts
 

I came across a free parts thread in the 87-96 forum and got to thinking maybe it would work here? What ya'll think? As for me I'm looking for a super duty steering wheel, seats, center console guess I'm just cheap lol. I've looked at the local pick n pull here never have any super dutys. So you guys let me know. I figure the person interested in the free item pays shipping. Ya know what I mean? If this works maybe I'll expand over to the excursion forum see if we can score some stuff there. :-drink

I have a rear bumper from my 2005, its painted ford CX, its great condtion, I just upgraded to a 2008+ rear end... I had it listed on Craigslist for 4 weeks as make me an offer.. I would of said OK to someone the said they would come take it for free.. Now I am getting ready to drive it to the dump because its taking up to much garage space...

So here it is, FREE 2005 REAR BUMPER (PAINTED, NOT CHROME) will not ship as its not worth my time to box it up if its free haha..

i have a 2 HVAC control units for 08-10 one is the plane jane, one is for dual climate control. also have a explorer window defrost button for the heated mirror conversion.
also have the xl stock radio. All can be had for the price of shipping. I have offerded these before in various threds where people stated they were having problems but had no takers, so i dont expect to have any luck here either. Also on a side note, not 250 specific but also have the bed mounts for an aux fuel tank. the type seen on construction company trucks.

I have tan front door panels from a 2000 F-250 XLT as well as a tan extended cab rear seat clean!

Maybe we can get this stickied like the one in the excursion forum!

Actually the requests are fine and this is mentioned in the guidelines.

The thread is fine by me with some conditions:

1) There is no money mentioned in the thread regardless of whether it's for shipping, parts, etc.

2) There is / are no attempt(s) to openly sell anything whatsoever......this is done in the Classifieds section.

3) Once you find a part you need or you find a home for the part you're trying to get rid of, take the actual exchange off the forum and handle it via PM or e-mail.

We'll give it a trial run and see how it goes.:-X22

I know requests are okay by the forum rules, but it gets really sloppy if everyone and their mother starts saying "I need a free GTP38R does anyone have one lying around?"

These types of threads tend to get sloppy regardless of whether there are requests in it or not.

Then sloppy it shall be!

Okay, I've stuck the thread. Let's see how it goes and I'll decide if it stays stuck depending upon how smoothly it operates.;)

So did we decide we can or can't request parts? I really don't think this will get messy. Just a lot of pm's will be used.

John (moderator extrodinare :) ) (love ya John ;) ) said requesting is fine as-per FTE guidelines. I think for everyones sake its best to move the conversation on to the pm as quick as possible. :)

No problem with requesting parts. This is allowed by the guidelines and I think it's a great idea and thread.:-X22

All I ask is that after you folks hook up with needed / found parts, move the actual transaction information to PMs or e-mail in order to keep excess clutter out of the thread.;)

One last little tidbit of info too folks. While this is a great idea for a thread and an excellent opportunity to help out our brother and sister Super Duty owners, FTE and Internet Brands assume no liability for parts not delivered, exchanged, etc.

In other words, if a deal goes awry and you don't get what you were promised, we will not intervene. Any and all deals are between the respective parties only.:-X22

I am looking for a used vane turbo for a 2005 f350 6.0 diesel , that i can practice on before i do the factory one in my truck. If you happen to have one laying around from a past upgrade or wreck please let me know, I have seen the posts in here about reconditioning turbos so i am pretty sure i wont screw up to bad but i just want to know what i am getting into in person before i trash my turbo from a stupid mistake.
And i will pass it along when i am finished to the next person in need of one.

I have a set of the paddle mirrors off my 07 F250. There are powered. I replaced them w/ the 08 tow upgrade. Great condition and sitting in boxes in the garage. PM me for pics and shipping.

2" rear axle blocks
 

I know a lot of people want to go to the 4" or more, I'm actually in need of the 2" blocks.

it seems like this might get sloppy with folks not mentioning years for parts, or worse yet, incorrect years... like '08-10, when there are a lot of 09-10 parts that don't work on '08s

Well thats what the PM is for... I might be lookin for blocks, and then send him/her a message like... What year are those blocks from? He/she may say ummmmm, 07 F-350, then I would say something like.... Oh Ya!!!! i've been looking for those; or Darn those wont work for me, but thank you....

I think if people dont post anything here besides Hea I got this, or Does anyone have one of these? and then respond with a PM which was excactly how it was working BTW; then we should be fine :) OK everyone, (Dont respond, i will take your silence as aggreement with this)

i just bought an '02 with the Sport package. It has the center jump seat (black cloth) with fold down console. I would like to convert to the floor console. Even swap in Ohio.

Damn if I had one I would swap ya. Ive been looking for the jumpseat console. Good luck truckmonger.
