Where is the CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX?

I'm trying to track down the problem with my power windows and radio loosing power but first need to find the CJB. Is it also known as the fuse panel below the dash?
Thanks again, David

When sitting behind the steering wheel it is at your knees. Get a blade screwdriver or. A quarter and twist th four screws. The panel will con right off.

Thanks, but I know where the fuse panel is, I was just wanting to know if that'S what's also called the CENTRAL JUNCTION BOX.

Where did you hear that term? I've never heard that term applied to our vehicle, much less any vehicle.

What term?

Somebody must know where the Central Junction Box is located in the Excursion

I'll ask again, where did you hear that term?

Stewart is saying we've never heard of the term "Central Junction Box" being applied to an Excursion.

There is a fuse box at your knees inside:

And another one called the "Power Distribution Box" is located under the hood on the driver side near the firewall - number 6 in the diagram below:

"Central Junction Box" is a term more used for household or industrial wiring, not automotive applications.

Stewart,
I got the CJB from a link by HOUSEDAD on another post I did earlier regarding this same problem.(POWER WINDOWS & RADIO electrical problem) His link is to a schematic showing a partial wiring diagram with power out from Central Junction Box (CJB) (14A067) feeding the instrument cluster.
And thanks for you help and patience.

The CJB is the fuse panel by your knees as referenced through factory service manuals.

Most people don't have access to the shop manuals. The owner manual refers to that as the "passenger compartment fuse panel" (page 140-142 in the owner manual), and refers to the one the OP is asking about as the "power distribution box" (page 143-146 in the owner manual).

I believe the link Khadma referenced is also the one under the hood. I have yet to see any documentation that refers to the passenger compartment fuse panel as anything other than the passenger compartment fuse panel. Please post a link to the document you found that description at.

The later Excursions don't have that engine compartment fuse box. Not '02-'05 anyway.

So does the passenger compartment fuse panel of an 03 look like this (with all of the relays and such under the dash)?
