I see not a whole lot of action on this thread so I'll post another update:
Well, my red '07 will never see 250,000 miles. So close but it'll never happen.
I was running some errands this morning and a bozo decided to wreck my truck!
I was stopped at a stop sign at the time, waiting to make a right hand turn.

Looks like Bozo was driving something very big. Must have been quite the experience since it looks like it was heading right at your head!

Thanks for posting, it's good to know some cam phasers make it well past the 100k mark.

It was a Nissan Titan. He actually "ricochet" off of me. He pulled into oncoming traffic and was hit by a BMW and bounced off of me. I have it on dashcam. I'll post it if I can figure out how.
And yeah, the cam phasers were quiet. The truck actually still runs fine. I was at the tow yard yesterday cleaning it out and started it up and moved it around.

Here's the Titan and the BMW.

EDIT: I figured the easiest way is to post it to youtube.

Good thing you had a dash cam, otherwise he might have said you pulled out into him.

HA! Small world. That accident happened in Davenport, north of Haines City.

sorry to derail the thread but please tell us (me) about the dash cam. Make, model, pros and cons.

No problem. The unit is made by Garmin, it's a combination GPS and dash cam. The model is Drive Assist 50
Pros are it's user friendly, compact, easy to mount. When it detects a crash it automatically saves the footage. That's what happened in this case. It was about five minutes after the cash I thought about the camera and checked it, it had automatically saved the incident. You don't see it in the Youtube video but it also time and date stamps the video at the bottom of the picture along with the GPS coordinates and the vehicle speed.
Cons are more personal taste than anything, I'd like a longer power cable so I could route it around the windshield frame instead of hanging down. The only other thing is the suction cup tends to let go when it's really hot, letting the unit fall. But once it's been mounted a while that problem seems to go away.

I have a 1997 F150 XLT 2WD with a 4.6L Windsor. Daily driver since new - Late 1996. It currently has 267,000 +/- as of April 2019. Leaks a little oil, so I'm changing all gaskets, timing chains guides and tensioners, oil pump and spark plugs. The engine still runs well and looks great inside. While the oil pan was down, I even noticed the cross-hatching is still in the cylinder walls.

I also have a 2000 Expedition 2WD with a 4.6L engine - not sure if it's Windsor or Romeo. I bought it in July 2018 with 143,000, it currently has 160,000 as of April 2019. I've not had to do any major repairs to it yet.

Well, I've a 2001 F150 Lariat 5.4 with 189,100 miles ~ just had it for about 5000 miles fixing this and that ~ runs good ~ gains speed going downhill ~ trying to find the cause ~ we'll see ```

Ive got an 2003 f150 with a 4.6L V8 I got the truck with just under 120k and it just turned 180k. No major repairs. engine has been great and still has OG exhaust headers and OG timing components. Still no tick on startup. =)

Target: 300k. But first I have to get to 200k.

Upcoming maintenance: Plugs, oil change, trans oil and filter, Drivers side hydraulic brake line, AC Compressor pulley and clutch.

2000 f150 4.6l, I bought it new. Same engine and transmission. 346,600 miles and still running strong.

I just bought a 2005 F250 XL Regular cab 4x4 ex highway truck with 159k on the 5.4L 3v. I do have phaser noise on hot idle which I'm going to investigate further. Hopefully I don't have to worry about a timing kit and new oil pump as this was supposed to be a cheap beater truck.

Whoa I thought I had a spitting chance here... but not after this guy.
My 2005 e250 with 4.6L has 286,000 on it now. Runs strong and reliable. Besides some timing chain rattle during cold startup.

My v10 e350 has 345,000-ish though. I had to rebuild the heads this year. Otherwise it’s all original.

Bought new 2000 Expedition, now has 240K. Had Ford dealer replace drive train at 200K. Love the vehicle, but now having multiple problems with dealer's work. I had to rebuild the transfer case after 25k and now just putting engine back together after rebuilding heads. I'd stay away from Ford's reman'd engines. Poor workmanship.
