2001 f350 wheels

I want to fit 2007 f 350 dually rims on my 2001 f350 dually 4x4 powerstroke if this is possible what all would i need?, thanks

nlemerise 02-22-2012 09:30 AM

I don't think a direct fit is possible...2001 has an 8 - 170mm bolt pattern, 2007 has a 8 - 200mm pattern.

I thought the only difference was the offset/backspacing? I put 2010 rims on my 2001, they fit the lug pattern but the front wheels rubbed real bad. I had a 2k foot turning radius...

Yes that is what i thought so does that mean its not possible?

DemonRace6 02-22-2012 10:30 AM

If Neal is correct and the bolt patter is different, no it is not possible. (well anything is possible but don't do it)

If the bolt pattern is the same then it is possible but you need wheel spacers.

Is there 8-170 to 8-200 adapters

SARDiverDan 02-22-2012 11:24 AM

Yes, it’s called a power drill and a large drill bit but I would not recommend it. If the bolt patterns don’t match up then you have two choices, different wheels or converting your entire system over to match a 2007 configuration. Cheaper to just find a different wheel…

Does anyone have pictures of a good dually wheel and i dont want 24"s i would like 16 to 18 inch black or chrome let me see what some people got

nlemerise 02-22-2012 12:10 PM

I just tried tirerack.com wheel fitment...it says 2001 F350 dually 4x4 has 8-170 and 2007 F350 4x4 has 8 - 200. I could very well be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time and I know not the last.

Go to tirerack...you can see the wheels on your truck.

strokinpower350 02-22-2012 02:33 PM

Tirerack only has 4 rims available what u guys got?

DemonRace6 02-22-2012 02:45 PM

I would say Neal is correct then, and forget about the 2007 rims.

As far as wheel choices, check ebay for ideas, lots of wheels on there. I'm always shopping on ebay, damn PSM! (or is it PMS?)

Ok thanks demonrace6

I thought that was the normal turning radius.}>
