Fuel mileage and traction control

If the traction control mode is turned off, does the fuel mileage increase? Theoretically it would make sense to me that it would, however since I really don't know the specifics of how it all works, I could be off base here. Am I?

It should not affect your mileage, at least not under any kind of normal driving conditions. When traction control activates, a light will blink on the instrument cluster.

As far as I know, this is correct and is what I've seen.

To me it would stand to reason that better traction would yield better milage. Under normal driving the traction control is not engaged until your tire spins (which with these trucks it can happen with a lead foot at every traffic light...lol) so it would not matter if it is on or not, your milage woud be the same.

I was curious about the same thing when I got my truck. Guys are right though.

Additionally, the trailer sway control does not affect economy either. I really was concerned about this one.
