where to buy parts
 

So,

I work on toyota landcruisers and trucks for a living (custom builds, restorations, etc). Its good money so please dont flame it. There are a few places to buy new parts and a few places that are well known and respected for quality used parts.

I know of lmc and dennis carpenter, etc. But are there any ford truck based salvage yards? What about new parts, who do yall reccomend to buy from. Are there people to stay away from?

I just figured I should ask considering Im getting ready to start spending money on the ford.

Ive talked with riff from nevada and he is a good source but was just wondering if there were other places as well.

All depends on what parts you are looking for.

Stay away from LMC - too many problems. In my opinion, National Parts Depot and Dennis Carpenters are the best. National Parts Depot has an excellent online catalog.

For now

Floor pan sections mine aren't really bad but it would be easier to have premade replacements
Suspension bushings for 2wd front suspensions
Random interior pieces

Later
4wd crossmembers
4wd front suspension brackets
4wd front springs
Misc 4wd pieces
