Blue fuel in my fuel bowl

I just replaced my fuel filter & the fuel was a blueish color in my fuel bowl. Is that normal.

Have you been running 2 stroke oil in your fuel if not then it's a symptom of bad injector orings

My fuel has always had a blue hue to it.

A very slight blue hue, but certainly outright blue??????

Do u get a buleish smoke on start up after sitting over night? I do and also get a white smoke if it sits longer then 3 or 4 days. I think still have the orginal injector O rings and are going bad.

dooleyservices 12-28-2011 02:52 PM

Some times a little white smoke but never seen any blue. So it seems like its time for new O-rings.

Dooley can u gives us some specs on your truck, year, mileage, mods ect

A way to test orings is get the truck up to full tempature and with the in park or neutral mash the go pedal to the floor the rpm's should climb up to 3k if the stumble around 2k and the shot up to 3k then o-rings are bad
