PATS Immobilizer Bypass Module
 

Hello,

I have a 99 Ford F150 4x4 I recently installed a Compustar 6200 Remote Start, Keyless Entry into. The keyless entry works flawlessly. The remote start works with the key in the barrel. I bought a Fortin Key-Overide-All and after spending hours on the phone with Fortin tech support we came to the conclusion that this is not going to work with my vehicle. I went with this unit because I have only ONE 1 Key, however I have come to realize I am going to have to purchase another key. If possible I would like a Immobilizer Bypass that is not a key box style (does not require a key be enclosed inside). I would hope all recommendations are from members who have used and/or have this unit in their 99-04 F150 as the original recommendation for the Fortin unit came from someone who said it would work, who I later came to find out had never used one.

What the system needs is the transponder/pill, pop the little door off the top of your key, slide out the glass pill and tape it up near the column is one idea. The modules I have dealt with in the past still required some kind of sacrificial key for the transponder duty. I think I remember hearing of a bypass that had an antenna and could be programmed to duplicate the pill, but that may have been the Ford unit.

I have a remote start on my 03 F150 first you need 2 working keys. I bought a cheap $10 bypass off ebay and it works perfect! No need to hide any key or chip in the column.

That is exactly what I am looking for.... and which one might that be?
