broken lower coil spring bolt- HELP

Looking for tips or ideas on how to get the lower spring retainer bolt
out of the stinking axle. it broke with about 4 threads left to go. Ive
got the jamb nut removed and soaked it in PB Blaster for 2 days now
and still nothing. Last night tried to get it to move with a 4ft cheater
bar and now I have to go to Sears for a new ratchet. Any hints tips
or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

when all else fails use heat. Do u have access to a decent torch? Not a dinky propane one but an oxy/acet that will get it red!

Got heat, but didnt know if it was cool to heat the axle since
its cast. Anywho thats the only conclusion I could reach as well
so after the holiday a-torchin' I will go.

I do not know what you are referring to. A picture is worth a thousand words. With that said, a hot wrench is worth more than its weight in gold. Use at your discretion.
