Best Sound Deadening?
 

With the new exhaust and having removed the old sound deadener from under the carpet in my truck the cab has gotten extremely loud. So what are your guys's opinions on the different sound deadeners and insulating materials that are out there? Preferably i would like something that would both insulate and help keep the cab quiet and i would like something that comes in rolls or sheets.

Ive looked into Dynamat but its pretty expensive and i would like to get a good quality product that is cheaper if possible. Ive also heard both good and bad things about Fat Mat and it is substantially cheaper than Dynamat. If you know of other alternatives id like to know what they are.

So what are your opinions?

if you look on Amazon you can get it much cheaper than from the manufacturer.. enough to do all of your truck for less than $150 usually

Fat mat is rattle trap same company

the down side with fat mat is for the first few weeks it smells a bit like tar.. but it faded away on my sons car. I am going to use it on my truck this summer.
