Because it is SUCH a difficult task! lol another thing that should be Regular Maintenance that people are for some reason afraid to do themselves. :-roll It is the easiest part of an axle swap for christs sake!

If you want to swap in a solid axle just search, all the info you need and more is there just a search button click away.

Are you implying that I'm afraid to bleed my brakes? I simply intended to show how easy it is to do a SAS using the same year axle.

Your post implies that bleeding brakes is a difficult task which it isn't, thats all.

His post did not imply that to me at all, just that the swap would be pretty easy and parts are bolt on and go! :-X19

I am going to look at the 97 reg cab f350 dually and if goes well I may have a 94 dana 60 front axle with 4:10 gears for sale for $500.
