The 47rh will hold a load of power. Most guys run stock cluch counts and tighten up the tolerances run billet servos and 4.2 billet lever shift kit and a goerends tc. There's guys running 1000 hp + through these trannys. I got all my parts through whatever it takes transmissions best prices and quick shipping.

a little porgress

Wow, just posted up a whole bunch of text and pics only to refresh the browser and had to start over, but don't have the heart to post it all right now. Yeah, cry me a river of tears.

Anyway, got a little work done. I've pulled the cab and bed and sold the frame. Traded it out for another bed (with built in tool box), a new dash pad and some cash. The guy wants my stock seats because they are in great shape. Though i'm putting lariat seats from an 01 SD in mine, i want to hand onto them a while.

Had a big scare. The staps slipped when moving the cab to the pallets i placed it on. I had to lower it fast as it was twisting and about to fall. It hit hard but no damage. All of my cab mounts where in great shape except for the front passenger. Gotta mock it up on the SD frame this spring. Here's a few pics. I plan to bring the cab home to start doing body work soon i hope.

No pics yet and i'm a long way from fitment. i've seen some on other forums who built brackets and they worked out fine. Maybe i'll get pics one day.

Any links to them forums with the seats in there's? Not sure if you seen my SD spring swap/build thread on my 71 crew on here but it may be on hold for awhile just picked this 66 crew cab up and not sure which I want to finish first my 71 with huge lift/tires and a 12v cummins or the 66 thinking about lowering it with a 460 and 5 speed

Cant remember where i saw it.

I ran across the thread and didn't mark it because you think you'll be able to find it. Anyway, I like the 66 it looks good. I'd finish the 71 one first. I'm not really into the lowering stuff, but if it works for you, go for it. I've got a buddy about 80 miles south of me that has a 66 CC. In fact, he traded with me on my 69 CC frame to put his 66 on it.

Another reason i didn't mark the site was it was one of those guys that makes you sick because he's got an endless budget, a great shop and skill that is unbelievable. Don't ya just hate it. (JEALOUS)

Ahh one of those types (owns a big spacious garage) wish I knew the feeling or even had a car port hahaha I'm browsing for a crew cab frame not sure of I want to keep the extra short bed on it or not. Glad your old frame was out to good use instead of tossed. How's the weather your way it got me at a stand still with my truck

Weather is pretty good, but time is too hard to come by. So many other things going on. My boys/daughter's basketball games mainly, but state tournament next weekend will tie it up. Tomorrow is tied up putting a roof on for some folks in our community. So, i'll get to it eventually.

Air ride for SD F350

Alright, my 4bt project is back together and looks like I MIGHT get to bring my 69F350 to my house to begin to work on it. I am considering Air Ride for the F350 SRW 04 SD FX4 frame I have. I may wait until I get it all fitted together but wanted to get started on research for it. What's the best/economical (don't often go together) system for air ride out there for the SD's.

Interesting project. I'm building a 70 cc cummins and considering doing what you did with your chassis... Except using a 2006 coil spring front end from an f350 4x4. Keep the posts coming. Your ahead of me on progress so I'll learn some from you here. I'm hoping you're having good luck with cab mounts.

Gathering more parts

Sold a few things and looking for more parts for my build. I want to find out what intercooler is going to fit into my Bump Side the best. I've been told the Powerstroke can be done, but it is too big. Also, looking for best turbo. I've narrowed it down to a HE351VE or a HX35. Any thoughts.
