2011 Expedition XL
 

I did not even know this trim level existed in the Expy line. Also found that they have full power (windows, door locks - not third row). There is a dealer here selling them for $30k with towing package and Sync - brand new. May have found myself back in the market now. May drive out this weekend to look at one (they have 4), but if any of you are familiar with this trim - comments appreciated. Obviously the basics of the Expedition are all common - no different motors or trannys, but I had know idea you could get a new Expy for under $35k. Thanks, Mike

Sounds like the same model most police departments and municipalities buy. You get power windows, lock, pedals and thats about it. I believe they have cloth seats and might even have a vinyl floor. It's a cool stripped down, back to basic, no bells and whistle model. :-X04

My 2007 XLT is pretty basic, just like I wanted it. I needed the HD towing package (9000 pounds) so I had to special order it as my major reason for the Expedition was towing a camper.
