Setting the clock
Is there a trick to setting the clock? I have pressed "clock" button with both ignition on and off, held it for a few seconds, nothing happens. The clock is displayed OK. 2008 Escape

You seem to misunderstand, the clock in my 2008 is visible, even though the radio is off.I have owned many vehicles and have never before had to turn a radio on to change the time on the clock.
I just changed my '09's clock a week ago as we fell back one hour here and frankly I don't even remember if it was ON or OFF for sure. I "do" know that pressing the clock button brings up "enter time' on the screen. |
