2011 SD250 6.2l bobo
Hi,since new my SD trannny lets go between 2nd/3rd or 3rd/4th,engine overrevs
and cuts off for 1to3 sec. Happens mainly when warm and after a stop over of 10 min. Its tricky when taking off a busy intersection, even dangerous Ford dealer says three other SD6.2l as the similar problem.they are putting recorders in some to try to find the problem Any input from this forum may help Thanks |

The TSB in the attachment was superseded by TSB 11-06-11. Nothing changed with the procedure though, just the wording in the title and issue statement |
Yep, it's completely curable. Don't sweat it! :-drink

sd6.2 bobo
Build date 02-11 selenoid change may not apply. but now I know they did a reprograming because after the 16000km service I was told to be harder on it,they blamed me to drive it like a grampa(witch I proudly am).
But why would the engine cut off? My feeling is: On certain motobike there is a engine cut-off at shift point, would this model have this feature???:-huh At shift point there is always a hesitation as if the engine cut-off followed by a hard shift maybe caused by the engine miss-fire???? Tomorrow Ill be at the dealer with the TSB Thanks Guys |
