Mini-Get Together
 

So its been a while since we have done anything. I'm pretty tied down at the moment, so driving to LA for a GTG might not be possible, plus I know we might be having a larger one in a few months. But how bout a small one for us few Ventura County folk? You guys wanna get together and do something. Cruise, food, chitchat. Pretty much what ever :-X22

You know what I'm looking to do! My truck is entirely too clean! And paint chips do add character (I'd like to avoid destroying my second set of side steps though)!

I know some trails up in the Ojai Valley area!

As for side steps, my passenger side ones bow up in the middle now. haha

Ah, I used to have the one's in my pictures that had about a 6" drop but the passenger side one decided to fight a rock and lost... ripped half the bolts out of the tube so i ripped it the rest of the way off and threw it in the bed. Now I'm rocking the high, flush mounted black ones from my buddy's Excursion.

I'm going to do my best to keep another vehicle between mine and his. Haha. What's the estimated date of this adventure?

Wont know until the rest of us wake up and pipe in! Next few weeks I hope.

How does Saturday November 12th sound? Sean will be in Europe a lot lately but he will be home the 12th and 13th.

Saturday Nov/ 12 or 13 sounds good to me. I was thinking about meeting at Missle Park off of Wood Rd and Hwy1 near NAS Pt Mugu. Let me give'm a call to see if we can use their park and picnic tables for a group. Not a very big place. Other option is anywhere along HWY 1 south of Pt Mugu where there is free parking. Meet for a pot luck lunch on the beach?

Missile Park works for me. I have a friend who used to live on base so I know right where that is.

I've been wanting to head up the 33 and find some trails (I know the general locations..). If anyone wants to come we can go after lunch. Or if anyone knows of any other trails in the area.
