Picked this up a few months ago. 2007 EL EB 4x4 Coming from a 2002 Explorer and an 01 F150. We downsized our fleet and picked this up to replace them both.

Few questions:

Who makes a good solid rubber floormat for the 2nd, 3rd row and rear cargo area? We would like something to keep carpet nice and Michigan snow and mud off the carpet.

Who makes a good extended mirror that fit over these?

I would like to install a trans temp guage, and wondered if anyone makes a A pillar "pod" for the guage?

This unit has every option expect NAV, DVD and the HD towing package, i could not pass up the deal and have since wired it for the 7 pole RV plug. I plan to upgrade the radiator next summer.

I am truly impressed with how this thing pulls our 6700lb trailer. We were on the fence of a v-10 or Diesel Excursion but couldnt do it as it wouldnt fit in our garage. I am so glad we made this purchase.

Anything else i should look out for expect the obvious?

Thanks.

Jay

Congratulations on the purchase. I'm new to the Expedition too. I am looking at these Weathertech protectors as they seem to fit very well.

I purchased, and am happy with, a Scanguage II (I purchased through amazon.com) which is small and velcro'd to the dash by the VIN number in the windshield. Stays out of the way and is easy to see as you drive since it isn't very far away from normal line of site.

Don't wait too long before you put in the Transmission / Oil cooler if you are towing.

I have the weathertech cargo and second row mats and I love them. I will be purchasing the front row mats in the near future as well

Scangauge II is awesome. Your Expy already has a built in trans temp in the PCM. The Scangauge can directly read this. Then you don't have to put a temp sensor into the test port of the trans...and then run wiring and crap for an additional gauge
