Some times it couldbe the battery. Particals can settle in the bottom of a cell and short the plates. This will cause a voltage drain in the system. If you know the battery is ok you can use a volt meter and remove fuses to pin point the short in your ele.system. A multimeter is very handy I use mine all the time in the shop and around the house.
I hope this helps. If you need more TS details let me know. I have been a heavy equipment mechanic for 30 years and I only own FORDS :-) |
I should have mentioned that the batteries are both new.

Is your glow plug relay stuck closed? I have heard this is a rather common problem with the PSD.

How do I check that? The GPR was replaced last year.

I used these to find my battery drain
How to Find and Stop Car Battery Drains DIY Car Battery Drain - Popular Mechanics Diagnosing A Car Battery That Runs Down[/URL The only thing I would do differently is to start by disconnecting the entire PDC before pulling fuses. My drain was a bad alternator, so alot of time could have been saved if I had eliminated all circuts at once. |
What is PDC?
