95 F250 351 Turbo?

Hello everyone, I'm the owner of a 1995 F250 with the 351w, and i was wondering is it possible to attach a 7.3L turbo to it? i dont know much about them, thank you

Edit: I just realized you are talking about taking the turbo from a diesel and putting it on a 351, correct? Not sure about that, sorry.

Anything is possible, but it will in no way "bolt on"

Wolverine94 09-25-2011 04:59 PM

Yea i figured it wouldnt just bolt straight on, but i was just curious, cause i havent been able to find a turbo for my truck, and since diesels are common in my town, i could easily get a 7.3L turbo, and then somehow link them together?

I'd start by rebuilding your motor, bump the timing and eliminate the smog crap. That alone will make a big performance difference over a worn out motor.

A turbo would be nice, but you'd have to upgrade all aspects of the driveline. Otherwise you're just gonna end up breaking something real quick.

If you are dead-set on a turbo or just overall performance. Check this place out.
