(my Wife and I have 11 days b4 our 20 year honymoon cruise, but I just cant keep My hands off the truck,Boy does it run nice.

Yeah, Jim, you gots to ditch those Falcon manifolds. They're ridiculously restrictive. I think I've got a line on what you're looking for. Check them out:

Small Block Ford Tight-Fit Headers - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop

Here's what a set looks like in the chassis courtesy of norvillebob:

Keep in mind that he opted for the plain steel finish, but the Jet Hot-coated are exactly the same. His engine is a 351W, but the fit on a 289/302 would be the same other than they'll sit about an inch lower. They're the best fitting block huggers I've ever seen for the '48-'52 chassis and the price is right, too. They are what I'll be using in my '52.

Blue Oval,
Wondering if those headers will fit a 91 302 with Mustang GT 40 heads.

Jimmy,
Here is a couple of pics of the Sanderson FF5s mounted on a 302 in a 56 chassis with a Volare IFS. I opted to go with the FF4s so these are available...drop me a line if interested.

So how much are you asking for the Sandersons?

CharlieLed 09-21-2011 09:36 PM

I checked the headers in the pictures that I posted and found that they are FF5 model and not FF1 as I originally thought. The FF5s are a bit shorter than the FF1s but both drop in the center directly behind the motor mount. These headers cost $300 for the plain steel and $470 for the ceramic coated as shown in my pics.
