The thing is I have 4x4 and the rear locking diff. The truck made it up and down that road (8 miles) with no problems. It was mud and snow but never even came close to getting stuck or sliding off. BTW at that time my truck was bone stock and I had no chains. My truck is a tank! I love it

You guys have me excited for winter now, damn it. I love driving in the snow. Unplowed roads to be specific. Best times ever.

Fresh snow is fun. But then the DOT drops 5 ton of salt per mile and my truck comes off the road.

holy crap...i would NOT brave that beach pulling a camper without diff locks and serious rubber!

spinella 09-26-2011 01:23 PM

not a problem at all. you just need to air down the truck and trailer tires to about 15psi. the whole rig floats on the sand. no need for lockers or big tires....of coarse they would'nt hurt.
