The glow plugs on these are good ones not to many issues
are you getting a cel for GPs or something

you can ohm out each one

and check amps on the right and left banks

If your truck is having a hard time starting up in the morning I would check the FICM voltage
FICM failure is more common than glow plug failure test ficm volts before you buy a bunch of GP

and check FICM when truck cold at startup

I agree with Benny, but here is a thread on the how-to. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post10498025

What's the reason you are wanting to replace the gp's. Chances are that is not your problem (if you have a problem) We can help you figure it out if you give us a little info.

2007 6.0 # 8 glow plug

I took my truck to a parts store to get a diagnosis after the engine light came on. They said that # 8 is bad.
How do I replace it? Thanks! :-huh

What code did they find to tell you this? P06xx? Apparently a bad GP module can also cause random cylinder GP codes.
