walking the dog......box of parts
 

whats up guys...........i was out walking the dog tonight and as i was passing a pile of trash on the sidewalk there was a k&n box. i picked it up and it felt like something was in it. i opened the box and saw the filter and something shiney in the filter. it was a throttle body spacer. as i finished walking the dog i was thinking that i was just taking someone else's trash just a few driveways down the road. haha. lol!!! when i got home i was surprised to see all the parts and instructions there in the box. the k&n filter is part # 57-2510-1 and the spacer is a trans dapt with 3 #'s. i did a search on summit and the filter fits my 94 flareside. it looks lightly used so i'm keeping the filter. the trans dapt spacer #'s are 2518, 2618 and 2718. on summit the spacer is the 2518 torque curve mpfi spacer for the dual throttle body that also fits my ride. the other 2 #'s don't look like the spacer at all. someone wrote manifold side on the spacer and when i looked below that there was a factory stamp that was barely readable and faded. TO ALL YOU GALS AND GUYS. I'M WILLING TO GIVE THE SPACER AWAY FOR FREE IF YOU WANT IT. THE SPACER WILL COME WITH 4 BOLTS. YOU JUST NEED THE GASKETS TO MOUNT IT. JUST MAKE SURE THAT IT FITS YOUR RIDE. I WILL BE USING THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE FOR THIS. JUST LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT IT. 1ST COME 1ST SERVED!!!!!........p.s. i will be away for a few days. i will check this site when i have time. i need to do the family thing right now. :-jammin

I just PM'd you about the spacer.

well just so you know if said items are by the street and are part of the trash leagially you may take the items as law recognizes that any trash to be collected is public domain meaning you can have at it :D thats what I do my self some times if i find items worth salvaging, also if the K&N filter is one for our trucks I may be interested in it if your not planing on using it :)

Sounds like the TB spacer was just where it belongs. :D

true most likely it was a pile of poo, but sometimes you can score things...at my appartment people threw out an entire set of cabinets and tables and what not that was still in perfict condition, i snatched that stuff up quickly ;)
