4r70w extention housing
 

i have a 98 f150 4.6 auto 4x4

the problem it the extension housing is cracked all the way around.

i have an older mazda 5speed trans kicking around from a 96 f150 and im wondering if the tail stock off that will fit on the 4r70w.

i would just pull it off and check it out, but the problem is i cant leave the truck disabled in the shop at work, but i dont want to spend the money on a new one if mine will work.
