38" Toyo M/T on a 4" Lift Fresh Install
So I finally got them installed :)

Very nice. I'd like to do a similar setup once my warranty is up. Good job!
Your Super Duty looks AWESOME! I've always loved the "Cut-Out" fender flares... much larger tires with minimal lift. You get all of the benefits and none of the inconveniences.
Well done! 8D |
normally I hate flares but they actually look really good on your truck
That looks good in many ways!
Black rims on the dark blue with tinted windows = :-X06 38" tires on 20" wheels with cutouts and minimal lift means it doesn't look like the truck a 16 year old rich kid would be driving.* :-X22 *No offense to the guys with 16" of lift and 46" tires. ;) |
Where did you get the cut out flares? They look so nice. How much metal did you have to remove? If you don't mind what is cost and make of flares?
curious why you didnt just go with a bigger lift so you wouldnt have to hack up ur front bumper so much ?
ps i didnt know Toyo made tires up to 38" tall. |
I'm gonna go with that looks Bada$$ and will look into those wheels when I decide to buy some!!!!
That truck looks so awesome!
Looks great. I love the rims. I think the crewcab trucks look so good lifted.
truck looks great! were the flares a bear to install? Where did u get those rims? there r killer!
what 4" lift did u use?
Looks great think I'd make the grille and bumper black give it a real road warrior kinda look...looks like 40's might squeeze in there too
I love the stance of the truck along with the long bed. Well done
First let me say thank you to all the comments :) I love the way that my truck turned out!

On the Front fenders I had to cut about 2 1/2" blended forward, then to follow the arc of the fender It blended out to 4" at the bottom of the bumper and 3" blended to the back. The Rear Fenders were cut 2" blended forward and 3" blended to the rear. I purchased the Tires, rims, and flares from 4 wheel parts here in Tememecula CA. However they do have an online store that you can purchase and have items shipped. The front flares were $235 (pair) and the rear flares were $245 (pair).

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SICK!!!! U NEED ALL CAPITALS FOR HOW GOOD IT LOOKS!!!! LOL

Here are a few pics from the front... (Don't mind the dust, I have been out of town, and she needs a bath) https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=83571 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=83572 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=83573 https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=83577 |
Very nice! What offset are those wheels? Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of wheels and tires. I'm gonna go with a -12 offset to get the tires out of the wells a little. I like the look of yours. I hope I dont ruin my paint but I like the look of the wider stance. Maybe a set of flares down the road for protection. My truck is pretty much a concrete queen, but I do need to get a little dirty now and then.

Rim: 20 x 12 Alluminum
Lugs : 8 x 170 mm Offset : -44 Backspacing: 4.75" Load / lbs : 3500 |
Man that rig looks tuff...that last pic showing front and side is frame worthy :-X22
Looks great! Another fan of cutouts and small lifts here :)
I know this thread was old but I was trying to compare Icemans truck to a red F350 supercab on ebay that says its a 6" lift on 40s I think the 4" & 38s with cutouts look better especially from the front
Looks sick! nice work!
