Where in Central Cali am I?

I don't get up north much, so how about Central Cali pics?

That could be anywhere in the SJV, but I will guess Lost Hills area.

Looks like the kern river oil field near china grade loop!!

Yep, beautiful Lost Hills it is, Bill!

Not too awfully difficult to guess if you know I frequent the Paso Robles area. :) I've been taking pictures of my son in front of that oil rig since he was 3 years old.

Yes, knowing you migrate across CA-46 was helpful. As far as the rig goes, it coud have been one of a million around Bakersfield.

I would imagine that could be debated, but I figure the cental part is from north of Santa Barbara to south of Monterey and inland from there. Bakersfield, Fresno, Oildale, Wasco, Pumpkin Center, all of those hot spots.... :-X03

Post sumpthin' and we'll see!

Cold Creek Tavern right below that bridge is a great place for music, beer and food on the weekends.
No officer I have not been drinking.

It's Cold Spring Tavern, on Stagecoach Road. Turn off left just past the Camino Cielo.

Been going there since the '70s-era when it wasn't so well-known by the weekend yuppie biker crowd. I just stopped going there after that started.

Gotta get back there someday just to get the correct wording on the casting over the fireplace mantle. Something about the fireplace being the heart of the home......

It's far more upscale nowadays than I care to frequent any more. "Reservations Requested".
