truck dead after ECU disconnection?

Hey guys.

I am trying to diagnose a code 332 (EGR valve movement not detected). It's an '88 with a 7.5.

All the electrical/vacuum tests I performed checked out ok, and the valve itself is not physically stuck. I got to the point where I wanted to disconnect the ECU to back probe terminals 26 and 27 (EVP ground/signal) and 33 (EVR ground). I shoved a paper clip into terminal 27 and reconnected. Now the truck won't get any power in the ON position.

The only thing I can think of that I did wrong is disconnecting the ECU with the battery connected. I have the EVTM but not the actual service manual. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Disregard... problem turned out to be a wire I forgot I had disconnected. I'll continue my diagnosis of the code now.
