What does the Cadillac so-called "ram air cleaner" look like? Is it sorta round with a duct on either side?

If so, this is the standard 4V air cleaner used on 1952/58 Cadillacs/Oldsmobiles, 1953/58 'nail head' Buicks, 1955/56 Nashes/Hudsons/Packards.

This air cleaner is very hard to find today and in big demand by hot rodders, customizers and etc. It'll fetch more bucks than you paid for the whole tamale.

Take a large magnet along when you get that 1962 Studebaker, cuz you may need it. These are the only cars I'm aware of that can rust out in Death Valley!

The piles have no inner fender splash shields, have a fresh air vent in each fender. Mud and etc gets thrown behind the vents, has no outlet...the fenders begin to rust, then the rocker panels and the cowl panel.

If it's an OHV I-6, this engine was junk from day one. Studebaker took the old Champion 170 cid flathead six used from 1939 to 1960, stuck an OHV head on it. The head can crack in a NY minute.

I think it would look pretty sweet sitting on op of that 1,000 CFM Holley Multiport Fuel Injection Vroom Vroom

I knew what it was as soon as I spotted it hanging on the wall in one of the sheds, seen a couple of them on some hot rods and I thought they looked so cool, very happy to have scored this one:D
