70's Longbed

I'm looking to buy, or trade for, a 1970-79 4x4 truck.

The best way to describe what I'm looking for is a farm truck that still moves somewhat well under its own power. I need a rolling chassis and a powertrain that could run without a rebuild, and I don't care about body issues, looks, or creature comforts.

I'd be willing to trade a daily-driver 1991 2wd longbed or a 1996 Altima. You'll get more for your money, so to speak, with a trade, as my cash situation changes frequently.

I'm located in Monmouth County, NJ.

Hey I have a 1975 ford f-100 longbed 63k original miles, never rolled over! It literally is an old farm truck needs the u-joint replaced still can drive and runs awesome. I had the carb. rebuilt. There is a bull dent on the passengers side but its amazing I am just in need of something that has more then three seats. I pretty well live out of the truck due to my job.

Its not a 4x4 though.

I've got a '79 F-250 Supercab if you're interested. It's a 460/C6 4x4, it runs and drives but needs some work. My apologies if you've already found something, I'm trying to get up enough posts to list it on here.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for the reply, but I really can't have a 460 because I'd have to swap the trans and throttle linkage to put my SBF 300 in it. I really do appreciate that you let me know what you have, though.

If you're trying to raise your post count, there are a lot of threads in "General Non-Automotive Conversation" where you can post all sorts of BS without saying anything about trucks.

Have a good one, sir!
