How much to ask for '06 rims with Skorpion ATRs.
 

Im getting new rims and tires put on at the end of the week and I plan on selling my current ones below. The tires are 275/55 Skorpion ATRs. I've put about 6k miles on them and they have about 85% tread or so on them (tread is right at 1/4in deep.) I plan on selling the rims with them unless you guys think it is smarter to sell them separate. So, what is a decent asking price for these? Thanks for your time!

EDIT - Question I just thought of. What should I do about the spare tire? Should I sell it with them, sell it by itself, keep it? I obviously cant run on the spare with the other 33" tires on.

I've seen sets (4 wheels) of OEM 20's online going for $700-800 without tires. Those are reconditioned wheels though, so they're basically flawless.
The other thing to consider is that most people have a pretty severe dislike for those Pirelli's.
I think that $850-1000 would be a fair price for the wheels and tires, mounted and balanced.

Thanks for your input. Why are the tires so disliked though? And if they are, would I be better of trying to sell the rims separate?

Lower than normal weight capacities (P-rated as opposed to LT-rated, and not extra load rated)
Tread design, and some users reporting less than stellar wear (less than 40k miles)
"poor" inclimate weather traction
Just to name a few common complaints.

Unless you have a way to, or someone you know can, dismount the tires then you're going to have to pay someone to do that. Might be better off just selling as a package.

Hmm ok. Well, im getting my new rims and tires put on at a tire shop so I could easily have them dismount them. The question is, is it worth it to do that or just sell them as a package.

Personally, I wouldn't want to hassle with two sales which might net me a few hundred dollars at best. So, if it were ME, they'd remain mounted.

Sell them together but just don't expect more then say about $900 in my opinion. Those tires have gotten bad reviews on these trucks from people who drive in any kind of weather. Still you should be able to off load them pretty easily.

Alright. $900 is fine to me. That cuts the $2400 rims and tires down to only $1500. I figured someone who uses there truck as a daily driver with minimal towing and off road use, like myself, would have no problem buying these tires.

Well who ever buys them is more after the rims I would think. I bet that it is someone who has 17" ****ty factory rims that wants the smoother ride from the 20's.

Ya, I figured most people would want them for the rims as well. Best looking rims that Ford ever made in my opinion.

Tires I got are 33" Toyo M/T with 20" XD Monsters. Actually just got the tires in 10 minutes ago.

I'd keep the spare, the little bit you're gonna use it wouldn't justify buying a tire that matches your primaries. Also, running a slightly smaller spare for a few miles to the nearest repair shop won't hurt anything even with a limited slip, but don't do it with a true locker. If you have to run the spare long distance and it needs to be on a limited slip diff, you could always put the spare on the front and put the front tire in place of the flat.

The other option with the spare is try to find a used tire that is within 1-2% of the height of the new tires. Say a 285/65/18. Then you won't have to be in a bind too badly if you have to use it.

You will have to take the Low Pressure Tire Monitors out of them before you sell them won't you?

TPMS was not available in 2006
